What is Boyle Chamber of Commerce?


Boyle Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organisation run on a voluntary basis which seeks to promote industry, trade and commerce in the town of Boyle and its environs.

Membership

Membership is open to any individual or business wishing to become a member upon paying the appropriate membership fee. The annual membership fee is €150.

Chamber Structure


The day to day business of the Chamber is carried out by a Council of 13 members which includes the President, the Vice President, the Secretary, the Treasurer and the ordinary members of the Council. The membership of the Council is voted annually on by the ordinary members of the Chamber. The Council of the Chamber meet every month in general meeting and also at quarterly meetings held for the benefit of the general membership. The Council members also attend sub-committee meetings on a monthly basis or as required and attend meetings of various other local organisations so as to represent the views of its members and to keep its members informed.

Boyle Chamber comprises an established network of business people whose aims are to promote industry, trade and commerce in the town of Boyle and its environs for the benefit of its members and ultimately for the benefit of the town and its inhabitants.

The Chamber engages at local, national and international level with organisations and authorities and keeps itself advised of matters of interest to its membership. It provides an effective lobbying platform through which the views of its members can be represented.

3. Information

The Chamber keeps itself up to date on those issues that matter to you and your business and seeks to keep its members up to date on those issues through regular updates via the Chamber website, its newsletter and meetings arranged from time to time for the benefit of its members.

4. Training

The Chamber endeavours to organise Seminars and training on matters of topical or practical interest to its members and their business.
